Slate is a natural product unlike most other roof coverings, with an average lifespan well in excess of 75 years though it will be generally consider to last several centuries. Choosing slate will be the last roof you are likely to need. Compared to 50 years for clay / concrete materials, it's durability makes slate a cost effective long term option.

 

From a slipped tile to a complete reroof we are able to undertake all slate roofing repairs. We can match your existing tiles or have a wide range of new tiles to choose from.

 

We have undertaken work on several Grade 2 listed buildings and are happy to liaise with the local conservation  officers to discuss any requirements and alterations. There are usually some grants available from renovations of historically locally important buildings.
